Our Equipment

Our complete metallurgical laboratory facilities allow us to take on huge heat‑treating jobs for commercial clients.

In addition to tempering steel, our equipment can perform subzero stabilizing, carbonitriding, and spheroidizing. Here is some of the equipment in our facility.

  • Surface Combustion Single Chamber Vacuum Furnaces With Up To Two Bar Pressure Quench — With Vacuum or Nitrogen Atmospheres and Normal Operating Temperatures Between 600 and 2,300 Degrees Fahrenheit. Working Area Is 36" x 48" x 30" With a Load Capacity Of Up To 2,000 lbs.
  • Surface Combustion Super 30 Gas Fired All Case Furnaces with Warm Oil Quench — With Endothermic Atmospheres and Normal Operating Temperatures Between 1,400 and 1,700 Degrees Fahrenheit. Working Area Is 30" x 48" x 30" With a Load Capacity Of Up To 2,000 lbs.
  • Pit and Box Draw Gas-Fired Furnaces — With Air Atmospheres and Operating Temperatures Of 200 to 1,450 Degrees Fahrenheit. Has Working Areas Of 30" x 48" x 30" and Load Capacity Of Up To 2,000 lbs.
  • Low and High-Frequency Induction Hardening Equipment — Power Levels Range From 50 KW To 200 KW. Scanner Length Is Up To 60".
  • Salt Bath Line Incorporating Equipment — For neutral Salt Bath, Austemper Bath, and Marquench Bath Processing. The Neutral Salt Bath Has a 24" x 28" capacity and Can Operate At Temperatures Of 1,300 To 1,650 Degrees Fahrenheit. The Austemper and Marquench Baths Operate At Temperatures Of 350 To 800 Degrees Fahrenheit and Have a 48" x 72" x 38" Capacity.
  • Electric Furnaces for Annealing, Solution Annealing, and Aging Aluminum — Furnaces Operate At Temperatures Of Up To 1,250 Degrees Fahrenheit and Have a 30" x 48" x 30" Capacity. Load Capacity Is Up To 1,000 lbs. Polymer Quench for Distortion Minimization.
